Messages, codes, premonitions—that is what artworks often are. There is a constant dialogue with oneself, with life, and with the invisible world, which manifests itself through art. It is a constant flow filled with secrets and mysteries that can be deciphered. And it is always oneself facing oneself.

A series of self-portraits taken with a toy instant camera; instead of using a roll of thermal paper, I decided to use some old receipts and a few recent ones I found in one of my purses.

This experiment was possible because this little camera—which I’m obsessed with—uses the same paper as cash registers.
